and don't forget the dispatcher "codes" (like anyone, and for our town I mean everyone, with a scanner can't figure these out!) "Code K (killed) skunk in the road" "Go Code H (hospital) to take a DBR" (dog bite report- but they always say it out instead of using the acronym, so what's the point?!) "Comp. code L(lobby) to speak with you" ooohhhh, ain't we sneaky...

We have done away with the signal codes and gone to plain talk. I feel like a hill billy when I check out that Iím chasing a dog, but I definitely feel redneck when I check out with a dead animal. I really miss my signal 18 & 20.

LOL! We have come up with a code for the ACO's only. PD uses 10-29 and vehicle check but we use it as we just poked our eye out with the portable radio antenna.

Cheers, Scooterchic

PS we call each other or text each other that code. If we did it over the air poor dispatch would be trying to call PHX PD to check if the car was stolen

CCL - crazy cat lady
EU - euthanized
LSW - last seen wearing (i.e. LSW blue collar)
Signal 7 - dead
blue juice or SP - euthanasia solution

I'm sure you covered (but don't remember seeing):
HBC - hit by car
RAL - running at large
TNR - trap, neuter, return (or reabandon, depending on your stance)
