My summer jacket was a Hein Gericke mesh jacket, the one I crashed in was a mail order leather sport jacket.

I had a little café fairing on my KZ, and it put the wind blast straight into my chest, and thusly through the vents in the jacket, so no matter how hot it was as long as I was moving it wasn’t too bad. Your Yamaha has a full windshield, does that interfere with the cooling of the jacket?

At 120 degrees it does not really matter.... But yes it does. I want to get a sport style windshield made by a company that builds stuff for air planes. Check it..

Cool(er)!

It doesn’t get much over 105 or so here, at least not on a regular basis. I got the Gericke because it was a little cooler than the Joe Rocket, but I think the JR is a better jacket. I would bake at stop lights, but once I got up to 30 – 35 MPH, it actually felt cooler than no jacket due to the fact it was blocking off the sun.

I did read a review from a customer who lived in your part of the world that said his Joe Rocket Phoenix jacket did the same thing, but maybe it was just his perception.

Ohhhh yyyeeaaahh.... I would buy some "doggles" and take my wee furry friends with me. Could you imagine an English Mastiff wearing googles, seating in the side car flying by you with jowls shaking. Watch out for flying drool.

Default Review for the vectrix

Here is a review of the vectrix scooter. Just cost WAY too much but a good start to large electric scooters.
