Default Seeking Katrina stories for Animal Sheltering magazine

Dear ACO Fun Stop members,

We are planning a special issue of Animal Sheltering magazine devoted to highlighting the role of local shelters and other animal welfare groups in the disaster. We'd love to hear your stories -- stories about rescues and reunions as well as stories about the hardships you faced. How did this disaster change you? How did it change your organization? What did you learn from it? What would you do differently next time, and what are you most proud of?

Please send answers to me at kantoniades@hsus.org, or give me a call at 301-548-7722. Also, please feel free to forward this email to agencies/shelters and other groups.

Thanks so much,

Kate Antoniades

Sorry..I don't have any stories from the Hurricane...but I do have a question.

I have went on your website and requested the free-sample magazine, (to see if I want to suscribe to it) This was about 2-3 months ago and I have not received anything in my mailbox. I'm really interested in reading the magazine. I visit your website a couple times a months and love it. You have a lot of great information on there.

Sunny
