Default Policy Summit concerning fighting dogs

I'm interested in everyone thoughts concerning National Animal Welfare groups trying to set policies regarding dogs confiscated for dog fighting.

I think this is a very bad idea, if they truly want to help step up and support the local animal control get their input.......ask the shelter staff who have to feed them

A case by case basis.....Ive seen more lab mixes that were aggressive
than pit or staff dogs....

And lets not forget the little landsharks.....chihuahua's, dachuands and the other overbred little rats......

Instead of applying a policy to make themselves feel better about not euthanizing a dog that since birth, is trained to kill...how about actually giving us hard data that they can rehab such dogs to become viable pets?

I am not going to give a dog, regardless of breed, that is trained and conditioned from birth to fight to the death, an option to be adopted. You are playing with fire! Put that dog back into circulation...and 6 months later it kills another dog at the dog park?

Give me some hard, non-activist spun data that you can take such a dog, do some behavioral training, and send back out to live a good life free from the conditioned desire to kill every other dog it sees....and I might support this!
