Hi Mark,

Just wanted to say that I just read your article on the animal sheltering website...Are you an optimistic ACO.

What a great article. I really enjoyed reading it. You gave great advice.

By your advice and words of wisdom I can tell you truly love your line of work. Your co-workers and animals are lucky to have you. Take it easy!

Sunny

Thank you, Sunny, for the compliment. I tell everyone I can run 1000 hours on one compliment. THANKS for feeding the meter!!!

I think my troops like their boss. I am not an Atilla the Hun, I'm all about the fun!

Stay safe...

I am more than pleased to have Mark as my boss!! No I dont get brownie points for writting this. Strickly off the books, clock. I have never been let down by him. He has more advice to offer than any ACO I have come into contact with. He is more than willing to lend a hand. If needed he will come into the field to help us. He came to assist me one day and I was very thankful because I couldnt have done the situation by myself. Sometimes when you see your boss behind the desk all the time you wounder if they really know what you are dealing with out there. He knows all about it and more.

That must be a nice feeling. My boss has never worked a day out in the field in her life. She is an ex-teacher, now turned vet. tech and that's how she got a hold of the shelter and subsequently Animal Control. Those of us who have been out in the field for lets say, longer than 5 years would never have taken the supervisor position because it's outside of the union but they could have at least hired someone with brains! sheesh! Kudos to Mark though.
