I'll attach the two I've got, with a couple of before pictures from our winter trip to Big Bear. Really, though, believe me, they're not as depressed about the haircuts as they look in these! They're just hot and sleepy. (It's been in the 100s here.) Maybe I'll get some better ones on Thursday when it gets cooler again.

Thanks for sharing! They look much more comfortable. Circus monkey, our rottie mix is getting a hair cut either tonight or tomorrow. His hair is thick and black and he fears water. The other dogs get into the pool during the steaming AZ summers when they get too hot but he just suffers because the evil water might get him. Hes a good boy when it comes to baths, but thats because mom says so, so he has to.

Cheers, Scooterchic

Boxers will always have a special place in my heart. How could you not love a dog that just wants to have fun? I've only met two that had a nasty bone in their body.

I now have a bullmastiff. I love him but he's dumb as a box of rocks.

And bless you........you spelled SHEPHERD correctly. That is my number one pet peeve. They are not parding dogs, they are herding dogs so they are not SHEPARDS!!!!
A local restaurant had a dish called "shepard's pie". I sent them tons of email grumbling until lo and behold one day I went in and the NEW menu said "Shepherd's pie". Hurray!
I try to avoid reading those lost dog signs and puppy ads in the paper that invariably refer to shepards, grrrrrrrr.

Default Love for Rotti's

Well, I loved my rotti sooooo much, then adopted another that died of lymphoma after just one year. I decided a break from the heartbreak of rotti's was in order.

When I lost my last one the staff picked me a dog because I just wasn't functioning up to par without a dog in tow. I have intense guilt over owning a highly adoptable dog. He is a flashy, puffy, bouncy golden retriever.... What were they thinking! My reputation of ruling over all those bully breeds is ruined, but I do love him with his half hearted romps of tug-o-war and about 3 retrievals in him before he gives up.
