Default Basic Animal Emergency Services Training

This class was actually cancelled the day before it was to take place because of a spring snow storm out in Denver which closed DIA and grounded our instructors. Big bummer. Anywho, we have rescheduled it for May 8th & 9th and I have so cunningly copied and pasted the old post upon this new one so, enjoy...

Hey All, This is a class we're hosting here in Branson, MO. that's going to be a lot of good info on disaster relief concerning animals. After events like hurricanes, tornadoes etc., people are always the main focus which is obvious, however there are animals displaced or in need of rescue out there as well. This is the class that addresses that very cause and we're the ones who most likely will be called upon to help. It will be a great time and we'll learn some cool stuff.
This class is also one of the requirements in becoming an Animal Emergency Services Volunteer. Depending on the scope and type of work they are being asked to do, they will contact qualified volunteers to determine who is available to go. All volunteers are required to be ready to travel to a disaster site within six hours of being called. Very exciting stuff. So give it a read if you want and navigate thru their website for any other questions you might have. You can also reach me at my office @ (417) 334-4544 ex. 234 Hope to see some of you make it. Charlie
