Just wanted to wish everyone out there a happy holiday. With all of the fireworks , drinkers, drunks, idiots and then the general population with their pets, everyone working the next few days be extra careful.

Already handled a puppy set on fire, pit sicked on kitten then child, and 2 dogs shot by neighbor. I love Richmond!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!stay safe all!

I also had the pleasure of being on call over the holiday. Luckily I only got paged once and it was no big deal. On the other hand I am paying for it dearly today. I am the only one working today and its a typical day after the 4th.....dog running amuck everywhere!

I too was the luck dog for on call over the weekend. Had 14 calls between Sat. & Sun. fortunatly only one on the 4th itself but the office now has alot of owners calling in lost dogs that ran away from the fireworks last night.
