Default Smashed, not quite refried black beans

Soooooo easy and soooooooo good..

1 can black beans, drained
1/2 small onion
1-2 cloves garlic
ground cumin to taste
salt/pepper to taste
EVOO..twice around pan

Add oil to saute pan, twice around works..about 2 tablespoons. Chop onion finely, and add to oil. Add salt and pepper, reduce heat to medium, and let onions "sweat", cook until tender and just translucent. Add chopped garlic, and cook until just starting to become fragrant. Add beans, cook till warmed up, and take a potato masher and smash them up until smooth. Add cumin to taste, stir through beans and serve.
