'Bout bloody time! I shopped for my car with 1 major goal: can the elderly dogs get in and out of it? Can I clean it? Will it die if the water bowl tips over? Nice to see car designers thinking that way too.

(I ended up with the Hyundai Accent hatchback, since my budget doesn't extend to anything more expensive. I think the dog-friendliest car I ever owned was a VW bug with the front seat out and the back kept down, but it didn't have any of those "comfort" features, like air-bags and shoulder harnesses, darn it ...)

My first thought when watching the video was, yeah, because you know the dogs are not going to walk up that. I mean of course the model dog does...But really I think we all know that our dogs would makes us work to get it too walk up it.

HA HA HA! Yep, our Mastiff sits on her butt and looks at us like "I rule you, you shall have the honor of picking me up and placing me in this vehicle."

Very nice, great concept! It's about time a car maker expanded their thinking past heated cup holders and power folding side mirrors, and saw a product for dog lovers. I wonder how much this dog friendly concept will cost though? I'm due for a vehicle upgrade and looking for something dog friendly. I may have just found something. Here's to new, useful, concepts!
