Default A great way to learn about dog breeds

I never get to watch Westminster since we don't have cable. But even when you do watch it on TV, you only get to see brief video clips. However, you can go to Westminster Kennel Club's website <http://www.westminsterkennelclub.org/> and view the online videos for each and every breed. Not 100% sure of the difference between the Belgian Malinois, Tervuren, and Sheepdog? Or between a Foxhound and a Harrier? Always wondered what a Black Russian Terrier or a Spinone Italiano really looks like?

Well, here's your chance to see them all - not just pictures, but video. Now granted, these dogs are perfectly coifed, well-trained show dogs - the cream of the crop, not what we usually see in shelters and ACO vehicles! Still, it's helpful to be able to recognise and correctly ID as many breeds as possible. So enjoy!

For thirty years I have kept a relatively current edition of the AKC Dog Book. It is a great reference tool.

I thought the Bull Terrier was a well deserved winner! What a great looking dog!
