Default And one more demo.... name search for windows

So this is neat – I was so excited about the desktop news ticker that I kept working, and I managed to put together a pretty nifty Abuser Search Tool that runs on windows:

http://www.pet-abuse.com/media/searc...ser_search.exe

Once you install it, it should launch itself.

What this is is basically a windows interface to the abuser name search. When you search using the tool, it simply launches the search results in a web browser window – but the reason I thought this could be useful is for shelters and rescues that need quick access while handling adoptions. They can leave this program running all day. Clicking on the vertical bar on the left of it will collapse the application so that just the bar sticks off the side of your screen. Clicking that bar again expands it back out. If you click on that bar and drag application window up or down, you can see that it moves vertically and will stay where you put it.

So basically, shelters could keep this app running without it taking up much desktop space, and just expand it when they need it. When they don’t need it, they can just collapse it and move it up or down out of their way.

The “exact” doesn’t function properly yet – it only returns exact results, not phonetic or partial matches like the main search does, but other than that I think its pretty neat. Your thoughts?

Its not released to the public yet, but you can pass it around if there are people you think would have useful feedback.

Hehe - yeah it is. What I meant by "open to the public" is just that I'm not advertising it to the publcic yet, since I'm still testing it and tweaking it. General public is welcome to try it out too tho.
