Here is my dog named "Chomper" on a recent hike at Milagra Ridge in Pacifica. He's too dumb to drink water from his folding bowl and would probably die if I didn't cup water in my hand and let him drink from that. I adopted him from work but he does have some issues, especially with cats, and sometimes with strangers when we're out. He's great with people in the house, maybe because we invited them in or something, but when we're out he's perhaps a bit too overprotective at times. He won't lunge or that, but he does growl at some people and he'll back right up against me.

And no, I didn't name him, he was named at the shelter and I just kept it since he responded well to it. Plus with his protective nature, not many people ask to pet him even when he is being good once they find out his name is "Chomper".

Default My Girls!

Here is my husky, Krysta. She turned 2 on February 14....
She is initially my fiance's dog, and he got her when his other dog (Krysta's sister from another litter) was killed by poisoning. The breeder insisted he get another puppy...and here she is! (I of course am big on adopting but he couldn't find any huskies at the time...)

And this is Kairi, my "mexi-mutt". She was rescued from the streets of mexico when my former vet tech co-worker found her with shattered back legs, bleeding to death in the street. Kairi was smuggled over, and she was rehabilitated by my vet. Now she is a happy healthy sweetheart! And named after one of my favorite video game characters...

This is so fun sharing!
(sorry for all the red and green eye...:P)

This is my new bestest friend. His name is Maximus Aurelius. He is named after a great general and a great emperor. He's an 8 month old pure bred shepherd.
