Do it! And come through Phoenix and say hi! I would conceder it but my husband has 14 years with Tempe Fire (he drives drunk people to the hospital as he calls it, drives and ambulance) after 25 years he can retire with a decent pension. Then he wants to go to nursing school and Phoenix has a great one!

I have always wanted to live in a totally new place. Start fresh. It would be such a exciting new learning experience.

Since the closing date is Feb 8, I have some time to work on my resume and seriously think about it. It would be a huge step...but an exciting one. What is the apartment rental and or condo sales out there like? For a one bedroom.

I thought about it but really don't like cold winters. I did apply to the position I found available in Surprise, AZ. Close to Phoenix so shouldn't be too cold. Plus, your right on the Nevada border, I'd never see my money or my husband if I moved there.

lol, lol. I can understand that. I have learmed to go with 40 bucks and nothing else and leave when its gone. When I do go I play pennies, last longer...
The winters here are not to bad but the summers are deadly! Good thing the hottest part of the summer only last about 2 months, after that it is comfortable.

Ill keep my fingers crossed for you to get the job in Surprise, it will be nice to meet you at the state association meetings.

Surprise had an opening? Damn, had no idea. Hey, you would unload your dogs at our shelter. Look for the second shifter on a scooter with red hair.
