Animal Control Supervisor
Description:
Provides supervision of field animal control officers for unincorporated Collin County and contract cities. Responds to animal control calls. Investigates violations and enforces state law. Supervises animal control officers in the animal shelter. Performs all related animal shelter duties. Performs related duties as assigned. Work is performed under the direction of the Development Services Manager.
Requirements:
Work requires knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, technical, or office processes. Minimum of three years experience in an animal control capacity to include one year experience as a supervisor or lead. Must have a level of education equivalent to four years of high school. Must posses Basic ACO Certification and EU Technician Certification. Advanced ACO Certification preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
Minimum Starting Salary: $29,931 per year
